This Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy (“Policy”) explains how the Lavanta Ride mobile application (“Application”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects users’ personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and applicable regulations.

Identity Information: Name, surname, phone number, email address, driver’s license information (if applicable), and photos uploaded by the user.
Payment Information: Data related to the payment card or system used for scooter rental (your card details are not stored by us and are processed by secure third-party providers).
Device Information: Phone model, operating system, IP address, and other technical information.
Location Data: GPS data used to display nearby scooters and track travel routes.
Usage Data: Ride history, rental duration, used routes, and user preferences.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Providing and billing scooter rental services.

To payment service providers for processing your payment transactions.
To business partners providing technical infrastructure and support to ensure smooth operation of the application.
To authorized public institutions to fulfill legal obligations.
To relevant parties in case of company restructuring, merger, or transfer.

4. Storage and Security of Personal Data

Your personal data is stored only for the purposes specified above and for the legally required periods.
Technical and administrative measures such as encryption, access control, and authorization systems are implemented in accordance with KVKK to ensure data security.

According to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:
To learn whether your personal data is being processed.
To request information regarding the processing of your personal data.
To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with this purpose.
To know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred domestically or abroad.
To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
To request deletion or destruction of data processed contrary to the KVKK.
To request notification of such actions to third parties to whom data was transferred.
To object to results arising to your detriment through automated data analysis.
To demand compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your data.

6. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be published within the Application along with the new effective date. Continued use of the Application means you accept the updated policy.
