If you are in Antalya and don’t feel like waiting for a taxi, standing at bus stops, or hunting for parking, a scooter solves that problem fast.
Here is how Lavanta Ride works, from installing the app to ending your ride.
You need two things: a smartphone and a valid driver’s license. No license – no ride. This is not a box‑ticking exercise: the app checks your documents, and the trip will not start until verification is completed.
Any valid license recognized in Türkiye is accepted. Ukrainian, European, international – all are fine as long as they are valid. An expired or revoked license will fail verification, and trying to upload someone else’s documents may lead to your account being blocked.
The app is called Lavanta Ride. You can find it on the App Store and Google Play.
During registration, you upload:
You only do this once. After approval, your account is active and ready to use.
Open the map in the app. You will see all available scooters around you. If a scooter is shown in green, it is free.
Lavanta Ride uses petrol scooters, not electric ones. That means you don’t have to think about battery charge. One tank is enough for up to 100 km without refuelling.
Each scooter comes with two helmets – one for the rider and one for a passenger. You are allowed to ride with one passenger.
Walk up to the scooter. In the app, tap “Start ride” and take a full‑frame photo of the scooter. This step is mandatory: the system checks the photo automatically. If the image is blurry, incomplete, or taken from a strange angle, the app will ask you to retake it.
After the photo is approved, press the “Start” button in the app. The engine will only start after that command.
Put your helmet on. That is not just nice to have – it is a legal requirement under Turkish traffic law.
Your total cost is based on the actual time you ride. The current rate is always shown in the app before you start.
Dynamic pricing. If a scooter has been standing still in a low‑demand area for a long time, its price drops automatically:
This means that if you want to save money, watch the price in the app – sometimes the scooter next to your hotel is already in a discounted bracket.
How you pay. The app supports:
You link your card once during registration. Payment is charged automatically when you end the ride.
The app map shows the official service area. Riding outside this area is not allowed. If you leave it, your rental continues to run, and the company can remotely block the scooter and charge the costs of returning it.
While you ride, follow local traffic rules and speed limits. Any traffic fines issued by the police are your responsibility, not the company’s.
Park the scooter in a permitted place shown in the app. Underground parking is not allowed.
Open the app and tap “Finish ride”. Then take a full‑frame photo of the scooter, just like at the start. This photo confirms the condition of the vehicle and closes your rental. If you skip this step, the timer will keep running and you will continue to be charged.
If you notice the fuel is low during your trip, you can refuel the scooter yourself. Upload the fuel receipt and photos of the refuelling process to the app. The company refunds the full amount from the receipt and adds 15% extra to your in‑app balance as a bonus.
Support is available 24/7. There are no bots or IVR menus – real people from the Antalya office answer your questions. You can write in the in‑app chat or call at any time.
